We follow (David O’Donnell), a Florida real estate lawyer with the charisma of wet cardboard. His wife has left him, his firm is bleeding clients, and he’s one bad decision from bankruptcy. Enter Sofia (Michele Hershey), a mysterious woman with serpentine dialogue and a husband, Drake (James Russo, chewing the scenery with gleeful menace). Sofia spins a tale of marital torture and financial entrapment—Drake owns half the city, including Carter’s debt. The proposition?
