Delete the Engine and Binaries folders inside your game directory. Step 2: Run CCleaner to wipe your registry of failed UE4 installs. Step 3: Download the "Standalone Crack Fix v1.8" (Specifically v1.8 – older fixes won't work). Step 4: Copy the crack files, but DO NOT click "Replace all." Click "Skip" for files that already exist. (Overwriting legit files with cracked ones causes the black screen). Step 5: Run the game as Administrator, Windows 8 Compatibility Mode.
