For the first time, ePSXe included an internal HLE (High-Level Emulation) BIOS , allowing users to run many games without needing an external official Sony BIOS file.
✅ : ePSXe should show the BIOS version and region in the main window. If you see a black screen or error, the BIOS is invalid or missing.
