The story follows English cartographer Jonathan Green, who is sent on a mission to map the Russian Far East. He gets entangled in a legendary conflict involving the Dragon King, a magical seal, and a Chinese princess. The "Iron Mask" refers to a powerful, cursed prison that holds a terrible evil.
