The story picks up 21 years after the events of the first film. Spencer Gilpin (Alex Wolff), Bethany Walker (Madison Iseman), Fridge (Ser'Darius Blain), and Martha Kaply (Morgan Turner) stumble upon an old video game console in the basement of their school, which they had been warned not to explore. Unbeknownst to them, the console is actually the reincarnation of the Jumanji board game.
