This study examines the complex dynamics of marital relationships and the influence of familial members, specifically the mother-in-law, on marital satisfaction. Using a qualitative approach, this research explores the experiences of women in Indonesia who reported having a close relationship with their mother-in-law, referred to as "enak" in Indonesian.
