Some players have pointed out a minor bug where the new hero Vesper occasionally gets stuck on terrain in the second mission of the campaign. Ironhide has already acknowledged this and promises a hotfix within two weeks.

This version is notable for containing the first major post-launch content additions and balance patches: Free Mini-Campaign: three new stages two new heroes one new tower to the game. Hero Buffs: Walk Speed: Slightly increased for all heroes. Vesper (Men At Work):

Rate of fire increased to 2.5 seconds (from 3). The "Halfdan" summon cooldown was reduced to 12 seconds.

The update introduces a new mini-campaign consisting of three challenging post-game stages. Set in the forgotten catacombs beneath Linirea, players face corrupted versions of classic enemies from the very first Kingdom Rush game. The nostalgia factor is high, but so is the difficulty—expect waves of armored Dark Knights supported by necromancer cultists.

The Brewmasters saw a significant cooldown reduction for "Halfdan," and other towers received fire rate increases to make them more competitive against late-game waves.
