Previous versions struggled slightly with harsh lighting, making Aerith’s skin look plastic in direct sunlight. Version 3 introduces new maps. Her skin now reacts to light correctly—look closely at her ears and fingers in backlighting, and you will see the realistic red glow of light passing through tissue.
