The story follows 16-year-old (Sebastian Urzendowsky), who arrives unannounced at his uncle Stefan and aunt Anna’s house following his father's suicide. Desperate for a sense of belonging and an "ideal world," Paul is initially met with coldness from Aunt Anna (Marion Mitterhammer). However, as he attempts to make himself useful—most notably by fixing the family’s dilapidated swimming pool—Anna begins to draw him into a toxic, manipulative game.
