The story is divided into three "episodes" in the style of the original shorts. It follows the trio from their childhood at an orphanage to their adulthood, where they embark on a mission to save their childhood home from foreclosure. Along the way, they find themselves embroiled in a murder plot and an unexpected stint on a reality television show. The film stars Chris Diamantopoulos as Moe, Sean Hayes as Larry, and Will Sasso as Curly, all of whom deliver remarkably accurate impressions of the original actors.
