Older versions were strictly one-way (device → PC). The updated software now supports bi-directional transfer via TCP/IP. The EMR can send a patient’s name, ID, and birthdate directly to the Tomey device, eliminating double data entry at the pre-test lane. This reduces typographical errors by an estimated 90%.
