Balls Trample ((top)) -

Exploring the intersection of materials, chemistry, and design.

: From a sociological or psychological viewpoint, "Balls Trample" could metaphorically describe situations where individuals or groups feel overwhelmed or crushed by societal expectations, norms, or power dynamics. "Balls" could symbolize personal space, individuality, or emotional states that are being "trampled" by external forces.

: Physicians often recommend ice packs for pain relief rather than specific drugs unless the pain persists beyond 24 hours. A comprehensive clinical examination is advised if there is any suspicion of surgical pathology like a testicular mass or torsion. 3. Hobbies and Gaming Mechanics

But perhaps, these are the moments that define us. How we react to being "trampled" can shape our character, resilience, and future. It's not about avoiding these challenges but learning to stand firm or even use them to our advantage.

Inside the Lab

Our Impact and Collaborations

We are proud that the Smart Materials Lab is the leading team in impactful chemistry research in the United Arab Emirates, with research output that, according to the Nature Index, accounts for 40‒60% of the total chemistry publications within the country, both in fractional count and weighed fractional count. The past and current research projects in the Smart Materials Lab have been sponsored by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), Human Science Frontier Program Organization (HFSPO), and the UAE National Research Foundation (NRF), in addition to generous financial support from NYUAD and the NYU Abu Dhabi Institute. The members of the Smart Materials Lab work closely with NYUAD's Center for Smart Engineering Materials (CSEM).
